The Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) asks the Applicant a lot of personal persons to help determine if they can and will be granted the visa. Once your application is filled in you will need to organise and submit your supporting documents. What you need to provide will depend on your own individual circumstances, and can vary depending on your country of passport, your work, whether you have family or friends in Australia and more.
Once your application has been submitted, you will now just need to wait until DOHA processes it. This might take anywhere from approximately 1 week to 1 month. Unfortunately, if you have not filled in the application correctly or provided the correct supporting documents, DOHA will almost never contact you requesting more information or documents – they will simply refuse your application.
